First of all, let’s thanks to Allah SWT who has given us the mercies and blessing until we can meet together in this place.

            Second, shalawat and salam is given just for our Prophet muhammad SAW who has brought us from the darkness  to the lightness.

            Third, to honorable teachers the respectable speakers and the audiences who able to come in this opportunity.

Speaking about education. Is education important ? as far we know, today education is one of the most human need reaching a better life. It is quite clear that education is the knowledge of putting someone’s potentials to maximum use. And someone can safely say that a human is not in proper sense until he/is is educated. That’s why Islam attaches such great importance to knowledge and education . when Quran began to reveal, the first word of its first verse was “IQRA’” that is read. And it is also stated by our Prophet Muhammad in his hadits:

طَلَبُ ا لْعِلْمِ فَرِيْضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ وَ مُسْلِمَةٍ 

 “the asquisition of knowledge is a duty incumbent on every moslem, male and female” (related by Muslim).

Thus, education is starting point of every human activity.

Ladies and Gentlement...!!!

This importance of education is basically for two reasons :

The first is that the training of a human mind is not complete without education. Education makes man a right thinker.

And this have been said in Quran in Mujadalah verses 11

يَرْفَعِ اللهُ الَّذِيْنَ أَمَنُوْا مِنْكُمْ وَالَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُواالْعِلْمَ دَرَجَت وَاللهُ بِمَاتَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ

“Allah will exalt those who believe among you and those who have knowledge to high rank”.

            The second reason is that only trought the attainment of education, man is enable to receive informations from external world, without education, man is as though in a closed room and with education he finds himself in a room. With all its windows open towards outside world.

            The value of learning is something can defy socieeconomics boundaries in a historical context. And this understanding raise them to be success, expend their world as well as their mind. And to define a goal and achieve it sacrificing along the way and to begin to look beyond their experiences.

At the last we should ordains long life education. As long as we are  still live we still have obligation looking for the knowledge.
